Winamp has always been close to my heart with my windows desktops/laptops/netbooks, and as such, I am still a fan on my glide! The graphic EQ is a step up to some onboard defaulted EQ settings that you cannot customize.
Winamp is great if you are looking for EQ settings and hoping to gain a more advanced music player/manager app, it comes free with many features except the EQ is locked for purchased app only.. I love it and you should too if you give it a chance!
One downfall, my phone supports full 5.1 surround sound with digital processing, as such, so far I have seen no support for that within winamp for android.. would love to see it added and would be happy to see other features for winamp in the near future, like mp3tag support, album art downloading, plugins, lyric downloading, etc.. that would win many over to turn winamp android into their default player..
Just like it's powerful on windows, I also use linux and prefer xmms2 over any other Linux music player as it looks/works just like winamp, but not as many features was available last I seen.
